Qld: Teenagers go on Gold Coast rampage

Police are questioning up to six youths after they allegedly went on a rampage at a
popular shopping centre on the Gold Coast today.

A police spokeswoman says the youths are being questioned in relation to several complaints,
including allegations of assault, attempted theft and property damage.

Police were called about 4.15pm (AEST) after reports a gang of youths was running riot
through Pacific Fair shopping centre, across the road from Jupiter's Casino at Broadbeach
on the Gold Coast.

The spokeswoman says one male received facial cuts during the incident.
