WA: Woman with SARS symptoms discharged from hospital
PERTH, April 3 AAP - A Perth woman who was hospitalised with symptoms of a deadly typeof pneumonia was discharged today.
The 46-year-old woman was put in an isolation ward at Sir Charles Gairdner Hospitalon Tuesday with symptoms of Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome (SARS).
She had recently returned from a trip to South-East Asia, including Singapore.
Doctors confirmed at noon (WST) today that she did not have the disease, a hospitalspokeswoman said.
"The hospital is pleased she is well enough to go home," the spokeswoman said.
